X-tra Dry Skin Fix has for years been the favourite SOS-product amongst our customers who struggle with very dry and damaged skin.

Numerous positive messages from costumers have shown us that this product is unique in comparison with similar products on the market.

But we wanted to test it out! Can we see a difference when using a medical measurement device, that illustrates the moisture of the skin’s outmost layer?

Test of X-Tra Dry Skin Fix

49 high school students agreed to participate in our test of hydrating creams – where we wanted to investigate the skin’s moisture levels over the time range of four hours after applying three different creams. One of the creams was our X-tra Dry Skin Fix while the two others were from prominent brands within the same category. At the same time, we measured the moisture level of the skin where cream was not applied.

The results speak for themselves

All of the moisture measurements, done between 9.00 AM and 2.15 PM, showed a significant difference between X-tra Dry Skin Fix and the other creams.

There was not a static difference to be seen between the two other tested creams and the skin areas without cream. The areas with applied cream were marked which made it possible to scan the exact same areas.

The measurements showed:

• Scan 1: Measurement of the current moisture in the skin. The moisture levels were approximately 60 on all test areas which is considered as ‘normal’ – before the application of the creams.

• Scan 2: X-tra Dry Skin Fix reaches the value 198, while the two other test creams stay <101, and the areas without cream are at 86. (The untreated skin’s moisture levels follow the moisture variants of the air in the room).
• Scan 3: X-tra Dry Skin Fix reaches the value 206, the two other test cream are at <108, and the areas without cream are at 93.
• Scan 4: X-tra Dry Skin Fix decreases to the value of 186, and the other test creams is at 91 and 84 and the areas without cream are at 83.
• Scan 5: X-tra Dry Skin Fix increases to the value of 196, the other test creams are at 97 and 94, while the areas without cream are at 93.

The conclusion is very clear. X-tra Dry Skin Fix provides the skin with a massive hydration boost that lasts for many hours. However, the other moisturising creams quickly loses their effect, and it is completely gone after 3 to 4 hours. In actuality, there is not a lot of difference between the condition of the skin before applying and after.

It is that hight amount of hydration that is especially important, if you want to take extra care of your skin.
