The best skincare for redness
With a constantly growing market of skincare products, it can be difficult to navigate between all the many options that are found in the stores. Especially when you have a problem with your skin and want to find a fast and effective solution.
This is Karen’s story about what she experienced when she went looking for help. She began suffering from recurring redness in her face, where her nose felt almost raw and pimple-like spots became swollen and her cheeks looked like they had been stung. Karen looked for help by trying various products, but she had no luck.
– I have learnt to live with my skin, but it does affect my daily life. It is irritating, and even though I use both powder and makeup, people still comment on it. It is unpleasant, says Karen who also tried penicillin treatment from the doctor.
The skin specialist’s assessment
At Beauté Pacifique, Karen meets skin specialist Maria Kroll, who scans Karen’s skin.
– We must strengthen Karen’s skin and I hope that it will calm down with a regular skincare routine. Strong skin is more resistant, and hopefully we will see stronger skin in Karen’s next scan. Balanced skin can create a tremendous change for one’s physical but also mental well-being, explains Maria.

“My skin is wonderfully soft and less red. It didn’t feel so raw either at the beginning and it doesn’t feel like my skin is ‘boiling’ in the same way as it usually does.”

Redness disappeared
When Karen comes for her latest scan, she is excited about the result. Besides her skin looking healthier, the scan clearly shows that Karen’s skin has become stronger after she began using the products. Karen is happy and positively surprised about the results of her scan and takes a photo with her phone. She is actually thrilled to be able to show the photo to those people who have been somewhat doubtful about her statements that the products have really helped her redness. When you look at her skin, it is no longer red, and she tells us that she doesn’t have the same need to use makeup to cover it any more.
– I will just continue the routine. It has had a really good effect on my skin, says Karen happily.
