For many years, Lone thought that the redness in her skin was eczema and allergy, but in the Help my Skin Project she became more knowledgeable about her skin and the chronic condition which produces redness and pimple-like bumps on her face.

A lot of people experience problems with their skin. Some for a period, others for years, and then there are those people who have problems with their skin throughout their life. Many skin problems can be remedied with the right skincare. But you need to know what your problem is. Dry skin is pretty easy to ascertain, and the same goes for spotty skin. But many people also go around with a skin problem they have no idea what it is – or who mistakenly think it’s something else. That’s how many people are with rosacea. One of them is Lone, who we were allowed to help through the Help my Skin Project.

Lone took the first step on her journey towards better skin when she registered for the Help my Skin Project. Here, she met the dermatologist, who ascertained that what Lone thought was eczema or allergy was actually rosacea.
Rosacea is a chronic inflammation condition in the skin and with this diagnosis, Beauté Pacifique’s skin expert was able to guide Lone in how best to strengthen and care for her skin so both the redness and the pimples could be reduced.

You can find out more in the video about rosacea and which skincare you should choose if you have rosacea.
