Hydrating Hair Mask nourishes and adds moisture deep down leaving the hair silky soft, detangled and easy to comb with a healthy glossy finish.

Supports healthy growth by revitalising and rebuilding the structure of the hair strands, improving elasticity, and preventing split ends as in youthful hair. The hair treatment is enriched with macadamia nut oil bringing essential nutrients to the hair adding further softness and beautiful shine to the hair. Vegan and anti animal cruelty.

How it Works:

This innovative triple action formulation is made up of caring ingredients that rebuild the natural defence of the hair against daily wear and tear. The ingredients also result in a shiny gloss and smoothes hair making it easier to comb due to its lubricating abilities preventing breakage. The effect of the Mask provides deep conditioning, reduced scalp irritation, with exceptional mildness.

Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil is a nourishing and natural oil extracted from macadamia nuts. The nourishing natural oil results in a velvet shine and glossy finish. The nut oil contains one of the highest sources of essential fatty acids (the good kind of fat). It’s extremely rich in iron, phosphorus, palmitoleic acid, B complex vitamins, and calcium. It’s also abundant in proteins and vitamin E – two natural ingredients that work wonders at repairing and softening skin and hair. The nutrients in macadamia oil, particularly the proteins, penetrate hair follicles to increase elasticity and strength. The proteins in the oil can also help repair some of the damage done to the proteins that make up the hair itself. So, not only does it help to reduce the chances of breakage, but it also restores already-broken follicles so that hair is left supple and in good condition.

It Controls Frizz

Controls and smoothes frizzy hair. This is because it coats the strands with nourishing vitamins and fatty acids that help to return hair cuticles and the rest of the strands to their healthy structure. This light coating provides a protective layer that reduces the amount of water vapor that is absorbed by the follicles, thus preventing humidity from causing frizzy and untameable hair.

It Hydrates and Moisturizes

Our bodies naturally produce palmitoleic acid – a component that works to replenish moisture that’s lost in hair and skin. As we age, however, the amount of palmitoleic acid that’s naturally produced decreases. The palmitoleic found in the nut oil works to restore the acid to normal levels, while hydrating and moisturising hair and your scalp in the process.

It Absorbs Free Radicals

Macadamia nuts include many antioxidants such as vitamin E and squalene. These antioxidants protect hair from free radical damage because, if left unchecked, these molecules can change the cellular makeup of proteins and alter the natural DNA. By absorbing free radicals, the antioxidants in macadamia oil ensure that hair remains healthy and in its youthful state.

Panthenol is a kind of Vitamin B, which adds moisture to hair and protects against brittleness. It recreates the lipid shine of hair, inhibits split ends and prevents excessive dryness.  Vitamins help with hair growth because they play a key role in producing red blood cells, which carry oxygen to the scalp so that hair follicles can generate new hair. There are eight B vitamins. One of them in particular, called biotin or vitamin H, is widely promoted as an alternative treatment for hair loss. Tocopheryl Acetate is a type of Vitamin E that plays an important role by protecting both the skin and the hair against harmful free radicals and protects the hair through several washes. UVB radiation is responsible for hair protein loss and UVA radiation is responsible for hair colour changes. Absorption of radiation in photosensitive amino acids of the hair and their photochemical degradation produce free radicals. They have adverse impact on hair proteins, especially keratin. This is key to healthy hair as oxidative stress has been shown to play a role in premature hair loss. This antioxidant helps to improve the hair growth by maintaining the connective tissues of hair follicles. Vitamin E protects the scalp cells in the blood vessels to promote healthy hair growth. It is beneficial to supplement your daily intake with plant-based oils, nuts, seeds, fruits, and vegetables.

Silicone Quaternium-18 has a natural and gentle lubricating effect on the hair strands. Makes the hair soft and adds beautiful volume. Degradable in nature.

Beta Vulgaris (Beet) Root Extract Extract of sugar beet. Improves the hair manageability and gives the hair heat protection abilities. This formulation protects against fading in coloured hair.

Usage:

Distribute the hair treatment in clean hair and massage into your hair and scalp. Leave the treatment in for 10 minutes or longer and then rinse thoroughly. Use the hair treatment 1-2 times per week or as needed.
