Tone down the redness with the right products
Rosacea. Medicine. Side-effects. Lotte would rather live with the first than the two latter factors, so she opted out of medicine and instead tried to live with the fact that for longer and shorter periods she was plagued by redness and pimple-like bumps and cracks on her skin. Only when the right skincare products calmed her skin down did she become aware of how much energy she had expended on thinking about her appearance.
When Lotte came to the Help my Skin Project, she was well aware that she had rosacea. She had just chosen to live with the disorder as well as she could. And that was actually pretty well, because she no longer thought about how many times a day she stood in front of the mirror and powdered her face in those periods when her rosacea flared up in the form of redness and pimple-like bumps and cracks on her skin.
But then the Help my Skin Project came along and Lotte wanted to see if the right skincare could help her.

Lotte’s skin before the programme. The epidermis is thin and fragile, while there are many dark areas in the corium. The dark areas indicate damaged collagen structure.
Here you can see Lotte’s skin after the programme. Her corium has become more robust and there is far more activity in the corium. We can see this by the green, red and yellow areas.
