Clinical Super3 Niacin Laser-Prep Creme wordt gebruikt als een voorbereidende behandeling voor niet-ablatieve laser- en IPL-behandelingen. De crème verwijdt de bloedvaten voor een betere absorptie van lichtenergie en een extra productie van collageen zoals gestimuleerd wordt door IPL- of laserbehandeling. Voorbehandeling met Niacin Laser-Prep verhoogt de collageensynthese met 30% (Peter Bjerring, Marselisborg Ziekenhuis). Het niacinegehalte in de crème laat de huid ongeveer een dag na de IPL-/laserbehandeling met een merkbare, lichte gloed achter.
