Why does a young person need to look after their skin?

Perhaps you’re unsure about what age you should start a skincare routine, and why this is so important? We can explain, and the very simple answer is – the sooner the better.
A lot of young people tend not to focus on skincare, because their skin is lovely, smooth and moist. But it’s important to remember that it won’t stay that way if you don’t look after it. You could think about skincare as having a “savings account”, where you make regular deposits of moisture and suppleness.

A number of young people also have, or will experience later in life, skin impurities and changes due to ageing, such as the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation changes and sun damage. And that is why it is important to prevent future skin damage and ageing by providing proper care for healthy, young skin.

We have developed the SuperFruit Skin Enforcement skincare product line for young people who are perhaps noticing the very first fine lines, and who want to preserve the young vitality of their skin for as long as possible.
The products are based on active ingredients that add extra moisture to the skin, along with extracts from nutrient-rich superfruits – SuperFruits –lingonberries, green tea, leaves from apple trees, sea buckthorn, cloudberries and birch extract. These ingredients reduce impurities and redness, and have a high content of natural antioxidants that strengthen the skin’s own defences and maintain elasticity and suppleness.

Selected ingredients

• Sap from birch trees, which is excellent for your health, locks moisture into the skin and has a firming effect
• Sugar beet extract, which adds extra moisture and boosts your skin’s moisture-binding properties
• Lingonberry extract, which both enriches the skin with antioxidants, reduces UV damage and strengthens the collagen network in the skin (in the same way as Vitamin A esters)
• Cloudberry extract, which postpones the loss of elasticity caused by ageing
• Sea buckthorn extract, which evens out your skin tone and makes your skin more robust

Vegan and fragrance-free skincare products

Our SuperFruit product line is 100% vegan, which means that no animal ingredients such as honey, propolis, lanolin or collagen have been added to the products.

In general, we avoid the non-vegan ingredients as long as there are equivalent and equally good vegetable ingredients available. For example, we use vegetable glycerin in our products, along with a high number of fruit and plant extracts.

Our SuperFruit products are also fragrance-free, and can be used even by people with very sensitive skin.

Micellar water – Facial cleanser

All-in-one facial cleanser. SuperFruit Micellar Water is a mild facial cleanser that contains extracts of Nordic ingredients such as birch, lingonberries, cloudberries and sea buckthorn. The cleansing water effectively removes make-up and dirt from your face, and adds vitamins, antioxidants and moisture to the skin, with firming and anti-ageing qualities.

This product cleanses your skin without the need for water, and is suitable for all skin types.

Serum

Our SuperFruit serum is water-based and contains extracts and juices from Nordic superfruits: Sea buckthorn, cloudberry, lingonberry, sugar beet and birch. The serum locks in moisture, smoothing your skin and giving it a healthy glow.
It also helps prevent impurities and reduces redness in your skin.

Apply the serum after you have cleansed your skin and before your day or night cream. Give it time to fully soak into your skin.

Day cream for dry skin and for all skin types

We have two types of SuperFruit day cream – one for all skin types and a special day cream for dry skin.
The ingredients are pretty much identical in both creams, but we have amplified the ingredients that provide and lock in moisture in the cream for dry skin.

The SuperFruit day creams boost and preserve the natural qualities of young skin for as long as possible, postponing the appearance of the very first mimic wrinkles and at the same time combating impurities and pigmentation disorders.
The creams are based on three SuperFruit extracts sourced from lingonberry stem cells, green tea and apple trees, and also contain three biomimetic peptides.
These peptides help with:

• creating more hyaluronic acid, allowing young skin to better retain its water-binding capacities.
• improved normalisation of the skin’s pigmentation – smoothing out your skin.
• growth in the new formation of cells, helping preserve the level of elasticity and firmness of young skin, and preventing and reducing wrinkles.

Night cream for all skin types

The moisturising night cream in the SuperFruit product line is both a fantastic moisturiser and is very effective against skin impurities. The cream works actively to maintain and boost the skin’s ‘young’ properties, postponing the signs of ageing, such as the first fine lines and pigmentation changes. It is based on two extracts – a special mix of natural extracts that significantly reduce the skin’s production of fat. This combats even the most severe problems with pimples and impurities; and particularly impurities caused by a hormonal imbalance.

It also contains three biomimetic peptides, just like our day cream, as well as a copper peptide that works to boost collagen, similar to Vitamin A, reinforcing the skin’s thickness and retaining elasticity.

Hydrating Face Mist 

Our SuperFruit Face Mist is a wonderful product that can be used by everyone and together with all products and product lines. Apply the Face Mist to instantly refresh your skin, both at home and on the go. A few pumps of the Face Mist add extra moisture and care from ingredients such as glycerin and sugar beet extract, along with hydrolysed corn starch. The ingredients add and lock in moisture, and of course the Face Mist also contains other natural Superfruit extracts, boosting the product’s capacity to preserve the properties of young skin.

Tip: You can use it both before make-up as a primer and after make-up as a setting spray.
